Higher engineering education has a very important role in science and technology, military, economic development for a country; promote its comprehensive national strength. As the world’s rapid economic development and progress of modern science and technology, with the ideas of "Returning of engineering" proposed and lack of creativity, the content of higher engineering education is progressing with each passing day, the original engineering education training system can not adapt to the times requirement. China’s emphasis on higher engineering education theoretical, though engineering academic graduates have a solid theoretical knowledge, lack of practical ability, who undertake the possibility of scientific research and replenish the higher-level personal reserve, therefore cultivate and improve practices ability imminent.The article considers to two respects are summed up and comment the research that engineering academic graduate practical ability in recent years from academic research and demonstration.
