The structure of graduate education has adjusted obviously since2009, asenrolling fresh graduate students for full-time professional degree masters ofengineering in the engineering field. It fit not very well for the education of full-timeprofessional degree masters in engineering field by the training and managementmode used in the master of engineering graduate and part-time engineeringpostgraduate students education. The training mode between the professionalengineering master and the engineering master tends to the same, but it should havebigger difference because of the different training objectives. Otherwise the trainingobjectives between the full-time and non-full-time professional engineering master isdifferent, the recruiting students object and training form is lack of of engineeringpractice ability by career oriented. Essential requirement of occupational andprofessional and academic in the degree postgraduate education is more emphasis onthe cultivation of practice ability, therefore the existing cultivation patterns andmanagement mechanism reform in colleges and universities is put forward.For this purpose, it is chosen practical ability training for full-time engineeringmaster degree graduate students as subject investigated to make sure the target ofprofessional practice, the training, the evaluation standard. etc. The research target isthe exploration of training mode and management mechanism. Cultivation model forpostgraduates at this stage is not suitable to train full-time graduates of professionaldegree. Most of fresh graduates do not have work experience,so the similarity ofcultivation modes between professional degree education and Academic degreeeducation seldom bring benefit for the professional degree postgraduate. There is agrowing appreciation of the need for reform of the colleges.This research mainly uses the method of literature research and survey. Bycollecting the data of professional practice, the current situation and problem havebeen analyzed and dug. To solve all the problems found in the survey, a practicalcourse system is built. In this system, the practical ability of students is classified intodifferent level. To achieve the goal of practical ability, there are different societypractices on phase. There are innovations of management and evaluation methods toensure the implementation of the new system. In the mechanism reform ofmanagement, the duty of school, department, tutors and enterprises should be clear and defined in the practical training part. The reliability of evaluation should beenhanced by designing evaluation table. The key reform of methods of managementincludes intelligence and net–work.
