Learning motivation is generated by the factors affecting the learning activities, integrated by variousforces which cause, promote and maintain learning subject to learning. Learning motivation problems,especially the lack of learning motivation will not only lower the vocational medical college students’learning quality and learning achievement, but also affect their physical and mental development, and evenwill ultimately affect the development of the whole higher medical professional education, the goals oftraining high-quality applied talents who adapt to development of health care and medical technology inChina in the21st century.Based on the Educational psychology, this research adopts questionnaire and literature to grasp thecurrent situation of vocational medical college students’ learning motivation. On the basis of the above, thispaper analyses vocational medical college students’ learning motivation, especially the lack of learningmotivation and causes of these problems. In the last, the author tries to give countermeasures andsuggestions to solve the problems.The first part is introduction. The author gives reasons of choosing this topic, discusses the researchesof relative findings of the learning motivation, displays the methods used in this study and the designing ofthe questionnaire, the selecting of the samples, act.In part two, author gives the concept, composition and significance of learning motivation.In the third part, through investigating the current situation of vocational medical college students’learning motivation, causes are analyzed from the angles of society, school, family and studentsthemselves. On the basis of anglicizing the reasons in the third part, part IV tries to put forward countermeasures tostimulate vocational medical college students’ learning motivation, namely, to create a good socialatmosphere and optimize the social environment in order to promote learning motivation, to optimize thecampus educational environment and build a harmonious campus atmospheres, to emphasize on familyeducation and improve the family support system.
