A Research On Total Quality Management Of The All-round Education Of College Students Based Upon The WSR Methodology

With the transforming of higher education from elite education to popularity education,the issue of improving the quality of all-round education of college students became a hot topicwhich was drawing increasing concern from the public and an important problem urgentlyawaiting to be studied and solved. Based upon the previous studies and the WSR methodology, theauthor intend to apply the concept and method of total quality control in the whole process ofall-round education of college students, in the hope of providing more valuable reference to thetotal quality management of boosting all-round education of college students.WSR Methodology is a problem solving methodology combining natural law, commonsense, and human sciences. In this essay, the author will take A University for example. The WSRMethodology will be further applied in the research of the over-all quality management ofboosting all-round education of college students. According to the specific situation and teachingcondition of A University(W), the author will give a clear definition of the quality of all-roundeducation of college students and mastering the substitutive characteristics of the quality ofall-round education of college students, and confirming the connotation and objective orientationof the quality of all-round education of college students. We will work on setting an objectivesystem, a quality standard system, a curriculum system, and an all-round education operationsystem, actively coordinating relations between different aspects in the process of total qualitymanagement, establishing the quality assessment system, the control system, and the continuousimprovement system. Be student-centered and improve the quality of all-round education of college students in the whole process of education of every student, in order that we couldimprove satisfaction of students, parents, and the employing unit. In the process of research, theauthor intend to explore the law of all-round education of college students and find the methodthat are be in conformity with the basic principle of overall quality management of all-roundeducation of college students in the premise of the scope of WSR Methodology，and providesolutions and proposal on total quality management of all-round education of college students, sothat the level of total quality management of improving all-round education of college studentscould be improved constantly.The author of this essay set a three-dimensional structural system of total qualitymanagement of all-round education of college students, and provided relevant solutions andadvice on improving the quality of total quality management of all-round education of collegestudents, in hope that we could provide some theoretical research value and practical reference forimproving the quality of all-round education of college students and reform of the educationalsystem of China.
