Because of the comprehensive function among the special natural conditions, geographic territory,political construction, mode of production, ideology and life custom, China’s excellent traditional culture isa long-term accumulation of cultural system in China’s long history development process, which carries thefive thousand years of Chinese civilization. In China’s history development process, China’s excellenttraditional culture has been the essence of the Chinese national spirit, which pushes the Chinese nation tostrive constantly. So it is of important realistic and long-term significance to take the excellent Chinesetraditional culture as the content in the middle school quality education. Strengthening the middle schooleducation of Chinese excellent traditional culture plays an irreplaceable and important role in enriching thenational cultural knowledge, developing favorable moral character, cultivating students’ sentiment,improving mental state, shaping the sound personality. This article studies the connotation andcharacteristics of China’s traditional culture firstly. Then it discusses the meaning and value of traditionalculture in middle school education, and analyzes its main problems. Finally, in the basis of seriousconsideration and summary of this main problems and combining with the teaching cases, it puts forwardthe way of improving middle school education about traditional cultural, hoping to inspire the peopleteaching in middle school to put the traditional culture into the classroom better and let the students drawnutrition from that, then lay the good foundation for the future study, work, and life, etc.
