Experiment is a requirement for the improvement of students’scientific literacy, and high school physics curriculum reform makes high demands on it, so the teaching of physics experiment plays an important role in the implementation of the new curriculum. For this, it is of great significance to strengthen high school physics experiment teaching, train students’ experiment skills, cultivate their emotions, attitudes and values, bright their future development. What kind of experimental teaching is conducive for students’ knowledge and skills and can effectively cultivate students’ interests? In order to clarify these questions, it’s necessary to do researches on the status quo of high school physics experiment. According to the author’s internship experience, different teachers always have different educational concepts and teaching behaviors, and no exception for experimental teaching. How do these differences affect students’learning, especially interest, their long-term-learning motivation? With questions like this, the author employed a questionnaire and some interviews to inspect the situation of experimental teaching of teachers for first year and second year students, and the learning status of second year students, hoping to provide some practical measures for students’ interest in high school physics experiment teaching. The data shows that:there really exist some measures and details to develop students’ interest in high school physics experiment teaching, and a teacher’s concept will decide whether he can notice these details and measures. From which we also got some measures:improve the overall quality of the laboratory teachers; suggest physics teachers to do continuous study and update the concept of education to adapt to the curriculum reform; strengthen the exchange and cooperation between teachers and laboratory manager; use physical laboratory highly efficiently; embody the1scientific inquiry in demo; inspire teachers to do simple and low-cost experiments; highlight the assessment of the experiment. According to these measures, two teaching cases have been designed with the hope that research and practice of high school physics experiment teaching will play a more important part.
