With the development of internet technology and the update of human learning concept, the value of learning community has been recognized and unearthed gradually. Considering the web-based instruction develops rapidly but has an undesirable effect, we can construct learning community to promote the interaction and communication between learners, so that the effect of web-based instruction improves. As the lifeline of learning community, interaction is the key to effectively running of learning community. Researching the interaction between learning community members can facilitate the function of learning community to give a full play, in order that it will be better to severe web-based instruction.This paper firstly illustrates the correlation theory of learning community and interaction in web-based instruction, including the concept definition of some key items such as web-based instruction,learning community, interaction, and so on, studies review of web-based instruction and learning community, the necessity to construct learning community in web-based instruction, the importance of interaction to the formation and development of learning community, and so on. Then the paper constructs learning community in web-based instruction based on above theory, under the precondition of making clear the basic constitutive elements of learning community, the paper constructs the procedure schema and basic model based on the combination of text, voice and video of learning community. Those provide powerful theoretical support and guidance.The paper analyzes the interaction between learning community members in web-based instruction from the point view of practice with emphasis. After introducing three different web-based instruction practices, which respectively based on BBS, synchronous video of multiple terminals, and U-learning experience, the paper analyzes the interaction between learning community members in web-based instruction from multiple dimensions accordingly with detail, including participation analysis, interactiion range analysis, interaction intensity analysis, interaction effect analysis, interaction preference analysis of learning community members, as well as the tearchers’role analysis. It’s the key part of the paper.Based on above research, the paper constructs the basic model of learning community in web-based instruction and summarizes the otherness, similarity, law and tendentiousness of interaction between learners, and the problems existed in the interaction practice, which can provide practical reference for web-based instruction.
