The Situation Of Free Normal Students’Career Aspirations And Countermeasures

May2007, the state authorities issued a document about "normal universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education to implement measures of Free Education (Trial)" in order to strengthen the reform of teacher education, to promote the balanced development of education, to improve the quality of education and teaching,to expand the team of educators and to form a thick atmosphere of respecting teachers,which decided to try on the policy of free education in the six noamal universities belonging to the Ministry of Education from the autumn of2007.This marks that free normal education after ten years return to the university campus. As of today,the policy of free education has implemented about five years.The first batch of free normal students have graduated to set foot on the job nearly a year.With the gradual implementation of the policy,the increasing number of free normal students and the expanding of the social effects,this special group is concerned more and more widely in society as a whole,and the problems relating to their career aspirations have becomed the important issues.The research ideals of this article follows the "theory expounded-current situation surveyed-cause analyzed-suggestions",which survey the situation of free normal students’career aspirations after reading,analyzing and finishing a lot of literature,then analyze the problems and reasons more in-depth and detailedly,put forward the specific countermeasures on how to strengthen the career aspirations of free normal students at last.The full text consists of four parts:The first part explore the importance of establishing lofty career aspirations for free normal students:Free normal students establish lofty career aspirations,which can contribute to the realization of Free Education policy objectives, promote the deepening and development of the reform for teacher education,tap the potential of free normal students in the teaching professions and stimulate the free normal students’motivation for learning.The second part point out the problems of free normal students’career aspirations and the negative impact for lacking of career aspirations,which is based on the survey.The third part analyze the reasons for the problems of free normal students’career aspirations to expose the essence behind the phenomenon.The fourth part come up with strategies according to the problems and causes from the five dimensions of society,nation,pilot schools,basic education schools and free normal students themselves,which is to seek the solution of the problem on career aspirations for free normal students.
