Teaching and research group is a professional and grass-root organization in school education and subjects teaching, and its construction directly affects the level and quality of school teaching as well as teachers’professional development. However, due to various factors the function of school teaching and research group has not been exerted fully, and its construction is facing many difficulties. Under the circumstance of new curriculum reform, teaching and research group is committed to take on new tasks which include implementing new curriculum, studying new teaching, organizing new teaching research, training new teachers and generating new culture. That is to say, teaching and research group is a "true organization" by implementing school-based curriculum, carrying out school-based research, and organizing school-based training. Therefore, teaching and research group, as a professional and grass-root organization, must be reconstructed to realize transition. It means the transition from the pursuit of "skilled"(Education and Arts Type) teaching and research group to a "Professional Learning Community", which is an overall transformation achieved on the basis of traditional teaching and research group by carrying out "value enhancement, center moving down, structure opening, process interaction and impetus internalization.In recent years, the study on "Learning Organization" and "Teachers’Professional Learning Community" shows that professional learning community is concerned about teachers’personal exploration and learning, as well as teachers’collective share and the construction of collaborated culture. Thus, it provides a supporting platform for teachers’ development and teaching in several aspects such as learning sources, learning opportunities, collective culture and school curriculum participation. As a professional organization of subjects teaching and school education, teaching and research group is most closely related to teachers. As a result, it is necessary for us to introduce such cooperation and shared culture into the construction of teaching and research group, creating a new, democratic and open culture to make teaching and research group become a learning community, practice community and research community so as to promote teachers’ professional development.First, this thesis made an in-depth study on the history of teaching and research group by literature review, and re-examine its professional nature and functions with the background of new curriculum reform. Then, the writer of this thesis proposed "Professional Learning Community" model on the basis of new curriculum reform, learning organization theory, learning community theory and teachers’professional development theory, trying to make practical exploration on transition construction of teaching and research group based on new curriculum reform.In the process of exploring the transition construction of teaching and research group, the focus should be on teaching and research group’s "daily professional activities" and teachers’"daily teaching life"(teaching activities, research activities, teacher-student interaction, learning exchange). Moreover, it should be carried out in the path of "implementation of curriculum, research on teaching, learning improvement, reform and transformation" so as to make "construction of teaching and research group" and "teachers’development" united within "daily professional practice". This thesis took mathematics teaching and research group of Wuhan Changqing No.1School as an example, examining several key aspects of its practical exploration on transition construction:shared value and vision of teaching and research group; conversational culture’s formation based on "lectures-assessment-improvement"; the cultivation of core ability-teamwork learning ability and research ability; effectively organizing teaching and research activities and systematic management; finally the construction of "cooperation and sharing system" by introducing knowledge management. By the transition exploration of "organization renewal, system updates, strategy transformation, form diversity and knowledge sharing", this mathematic teaching and research group made breakthroughs in the following aspects:value transition, function transition, system transition, culture transition, and role transition". Meanwhile, it shows its unique features of "standardization, sharing, professionalization". In this process, a learning type teaching and research group formed, which is characterized by "serving awareness and team spirit with strong abilities in studying, research, creativity and cohesiveness". At the same time, a professional learning community formed, which consists of "university researchers, school headmaster, teachers and professional instructors outside school". Within this community, everyone cultivate a personality of reading-enrich themselves in rational knowledge and cultivate self-reflection-through reflective practice to achieve behavior improvement, wisdom enhancement and consciously professional development-finally realize common development by self-upgrades and cooperation. In addition, within this community everyone have "an open mind and cooperative spirit, strong interests in learning and good habits of thinking, desire to growth and ability to development, happiness of success and feel of sincerity". They all pursued the value of "preparing for students’growth, supporting associates’development and devoting intellect to school".As a professional and grass-roots organization of school teaching, the transformation of teaching and research group is an important part of the whole schooling reform. Without the overall reform of school, the transition of teaching and research group cannot be achieved. We sincerely expect the overall reform of school, especially the re-construction of school culture so as to create more favorable environment for the transition construction of teaching and research group.To sum up, when we combine theories and our own practice together, it is easier for us to carry out experience and behavior reform and will be conducive to make practical experience raised to theory. Thus, the practical exploration on transition construction of teaching and research group will be of a good example.
