Since Japanese female obtain fundamental rights after Meiji Reformation, female’s employment has been changed with development of politic and economic. Especially during1973~2003, because the end of rapid growth period of Japanese economy, the impact of the international female’s movement, promote of government policies, changes of the social consciousness and so on, female’s employment occurred in significant change, it represented mainly that overall employment rate has risen, education and employment rate was inversely proportional after marriage and child rearing, employment was more concentrated in the tertiary industry, employment forms was diverse; M type curve of employment rate and the expansion of informal employment were two main characteristics in this period. The development of female employment promot the improvement of female political, economic and family status, due to serious awareness of "Men inside, women outside" and institutional constraints, female’s employment still has many problem, such as employment level is not high, compare with developed countries, overall employment rate of increase is low. the wage gap between men and women is large. As the same confucian cultural background, experiences and lessons of the Japanese female’s employment worth china to learn.
