21 century is the era that information technology grows highly, social changes with eachnew day and economic develops rapidly. Innovative talents are so popular that the developmentof innovative talents in universities is becoming one of the important challenges facing education.In the process of training high quality talents,Why learn and how to learn in traditional physicaleducation is not enough. To a certain extent, affected the initiative of students.Paying moreattention to the details of the technology leads to neglect of students’ conscious activity. Trackand field course is a compulsory course in ordinary university,the course is the comprehensiveof the Theory and practical course of sports. Because of that,their creation ability is limited insome degree. Therefore,we bring Anchored Instruction mode in sports teaching."Anchored" teaching mode is a kind of important scene teaching mode which is based onconstructivism learning theory. The teaching is based on the basis of Infectious real scene andreal question. Students can communicate and learn how to identify and put forward target. Bydoing that,they can reach the goals finally. Anchored Instruction mode inherits the advantage oftraditional teaching mode to solve the shortage of the traditional teaching mode. It can increasethe learning motivation of students and initiative, arouse the interest of students in sports. At last,students make change from accepting knowledge passively to constructing knowledge positively.All that will lead to the exploring independently ability and interpersonal skills and cooperativelearning ability. This is both the requirements of social development and personnel training andthe key to the new curriculum reform.In the background of the national sports education reform,we select Anchored Instructionmode for research subject and have a tentative experiment in Track and field-long jump at classof college sports education. By doing that we may deeply discuss the feasibility of theapplication of Anchored Instruction mode in the teaching of track,In order to adapt to the trendof the development of track and field reform,improve the quality of the teaching of track andfield course,promote the updates of sports teaching idea.The literature data method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method,expert interview, experiment and contrast analysis and other methods are used in this paper. Inthe process of teaching experiment,the experiment class adopts Anchored Instruction mode inteaching and the comparing class employ the traditional teaching mode. Through theunderstanding of the students and teaching theory analysis and the research content integration can we put forward differences between Anchored Instruction mode and the traditional teachingmode. Differences can be listed in the following.First,Anchored teaching mode and the traditional teaching mode have the similar results onimproving the physical quality of students .They can improve the physical quality of students inthe teaching process.Second,In using process, Anchored teaching mode in the special scores for improvingstudents has significant effect. It is more easily to stimulate the potential of students. Obviouslyincrease can be seen after the experiment than before the experiment.Three,Comparing to the traditional teaching mode,Anchored teaching mode can stimulatethe learning enthusiasm of students and learning initiative effectively . As a result,studentschange learning attitude actively, and their cooperative learning ability, interpersonal skills andability to explore independently have been significant improvement.
