With the gradual deepening of education reform, to promote the development of quality education more effectively, many educators continue to study the problems in education, and to explore new ideas and methods of teaching. Quality education requires teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.Developing the interest and expertise of student to tap the potential of students. Athletics is known as the mother of movement, to develop roundly the athletic ability of human, The major of physical education is a required courses which in Normal University institutions. However, due to time reduced and the development of new projects, the general course of track and field faces many problems.This paper is used by the general course of track and field in Northeast Normal university as a case to study.Subjects are two natural classes who major in Physical Education at Northeast Normal University in 2014. I use literature, expert interviews, questionnaires,teaching experiments and mathematical statistics.Based on the teaching philosophy of people-oriented,individualized and combining theoretical knowledge,researching the results of dynamically tiered teaching in the general course of track and field at Northeast Normal university.After the end of the experiment teaching, analyze the various indicators of the experimental group and the control group.Experimental data shows that there are no significant difference in the special physical and learning ability. But there was a significant difference in learning values,sports scores and Examination Results. Experimental results are as follows: 1.There are the significant effect stimulating students’ motivation to learn, developing intere st and positive attitude towards learning by using the method of dynamically tiered teaching on the general course of track and field in physical education major at Northeast Normal un iversity. 2.It helps students master athletic skills and enhance athletic performance.Compared to tradi tional teaching methods. 3.Students are more endorsement and acceptance the dynamic tiered teaching. 4.Dynamic tiered teaching pays attention to the dominant position of students and emphasis on the personality development of students.It meets the requirements of quality education a nd the development of the times. 5.Dynamic tiered teaching solves the question that students are not interested in track and fi eld, because of the fewer course hours on general course of track and field. The abilities of students are varying and so on. There are the significant effect that the application of dynam ic tiered teaching method in physical education specialty in normal university.
