The increasingly open campus is erecting by adverse social climate with the development of the society. And because of the increasingly severe employment situation, the university students have to participate in the employment competition in many ways. It is more and more popular that the university students use the gray skills to obtain jobs.The study is in favor of making the phenomenon known and evaluating it objectively to change the conclusion, entirely sure or negative, to give reference for university students’correct employment. So far, there is not systematic study on the gray skills, and lack of comprehensive study from the perspective of university students’employment, besides some news reports.In details, features of the phenomenon include four aspects. First, totally, university students acknowledge and approve the phenomenon. There is on obvious difference on the understanding level of grays skills from the sex, discipline, and family background perspective. But in the process of use, there is difference between urban and rural areas. Second, in the process of obtaining jobs, gray skills are not used frequently. But it exists objectively. Third, gray skills are more and more popular in the process of employment. Finally, there are two extreme views, pros and cons.The phenomenon should not be praised or belittled. But, if gray skills are focused on entirely, even discipline is given up by university students, it is necessary to educate and guide university students through the efforts of school and family for the phenomenon.In education, philosophy courses and pre-service education courses should be actively started, especially the pre-practice practice courses. At the same time, try to clean the campus environment; strengthen the education of integrity for college students; train college students to have the correct view of the employment. In a social context, the recruitment should try to end the use of "gray skills" in employment; at the same time, the adverse social climate should be reformed by government regulation. Warm logistical should be provide by family for university students’ employment.
