| Home- school cooperation is of great importance to elementary education in education reform. Former researches centered on how to achieve better cooperation while the conflicts between home and teacher were taken only as problems in the process. With different concepts in education from the two sides, the conflicts do exist especially at the Pre-school education due to mental and physical features of the children and the gap between reality and expectation in both parent’s and teachers’minds. To know and understand the conflicts is the key to effective cooperation between home and school.Various reasons contribute to the conflicts in home-school cooperation.Research of the conflicts should be conducted within the social environment in which people’s ideals are shaped. The approaches used in this paper include questionnaire, interview and theory analysis. The paper attempts to find out special features of the conflicts between parents and school in the pre-school years from the prospective of sociology. The paper is also written in hope that it can contribute to a better cooperation and answer the question of chileren’s that whose order and advice should be followed, parents’ or teachers’. |
