| Since the founding of the PRC, especially since the reform and opening up, theresearch on the urban agglomeration has become an important research area in the regionaleconomic and social development and has become a growth point to promote developmentof China’s economy. Hence, Liaoning, as one large sports province in China, has mademuch more contribution on the development of sports in China in the past30years, knownas the “Gold factory, Champion cradle”. Among them, those make the greatest contributionand are the most concentrated should owe to Liaoning central city groups. Sportsadvantageous events in Liaoning central cities groups, as a major force to prop up thesustainable development of Liaoning Sports, have made brilliant achievements forLiaoning competitive sports. Especially in the2008Olympic Games in Beijing, theyplayed an important role in realizing the goals of the number of total medals, the number ofgold medals, the participating items and the number participants which rank the highest inthe country.So far, research on urban agglomerations and competitive sports has involved incompetitive sports status, back-up personnel training for competitive sports andcompetitive sports industry and so on. However, very few scholars are concerned aboutresearch on the urban agglomeration sports from the point view of regional economygrowth pole theory. Thus, develop a strategy of advantageous sports events growth poledevelopment strategy for Liaoning central cities groups and explore the paths whichgrowth pole theory promotes the development of the city group advantageous sports eventsaim to resort to the multiplier effect, the dominance effect, the aggregation effect andspreading effect in growth pole theory to explain the development rules of the urban groupadvantageous sports events. This is of great significance for speeding up the advantageoussports events in Liaoning central city groups.This paper selects advantageous sports events in seven cities in central part ofLiaoning Province as the object of study, combines the actual situation and investigation ofevery one in Liaoning central city group and interview to sum up and analyze the advantageous sports events in the four representative cities in Liaoning central city groupsin-depth. In this study, the literature, interviews, case analysis, comparative analysis andtracking survey were employed.Through research, the growth pole development strategicmeasures of advantageous sports events in Liaoning central city groups are as below:(1)leading measures on advantageous sports events make Liaoning central city groups as awhole, complement the advantageous sports events resources in seven urbanagglomeration reasonably in accordance with the spirit of “a game of chess” in theLiaoning central city groups and base on the principles of starting from reality and takinginto account of the global to make the mobilizing measures of structural optimization andrational layout for development of advantageous sports events within the city group.(2)The dominance and multi-benefit measures for advantageous sports events not only makesure of the growth and avoid the loss in Shen Yang advantageous sports events interests,but also ensure that the interests of other areas dominated in the urban agglomerations tobe protected, thus resulting in a mutual winning development initiatives.(3) Theadvantageous sports events gathering measures aim at the sustainable development ofadvantageous sports events in urban agglomerations as the goal to consolidate the positionof advantageous sports events by means of gathering back-up personnel within the citygroup and gathering high-level sports personnel beyond the city group.(4) Theadvantageous sports events spreading measures develop the spreading policy on the sportstalents in different periods to do a good job in macro control and micro-adjustment of thespreading of sports talents according to the spreading cases of sports talents in theadvantageous sports events. |
