Senior secondary is a crucial period for students from teenagers to adults, which isalso an important period of self-regulated learning. Self-regulated learning is the choiceof quality of education and it will be required by the individual who should alsoimplement the lifelong learning. Changing the way of learning and improvingself-regulated learning is the strong call for China’s eighth curriculum reform.On the basis of lots of related information and documents in this field, tease anddefine the relevant basic concepts firstly, later on make a summary and conclusion forthe foreign and domestic’s theory and practice of the study . Under the guidance oftheory, this study has an investigation of the high school students on level ofself-regulated learning in order to facilitate the analysis and advice of the high schoolstudents. Finally, the study takes example of the social perception theory created byBandura for the further study of theory of self-regulated learning.This research uses an investigation and observation and interview as the researchmethod and come to the following basic conclusion:(1) At present, the level ofself-regulated learning of the high students is on the average(2) There is a remarkabledifference among the key secondary schools and the general high school andsecondary school.(3) There is no significant differences between grade one studentsand grade two students.(4) There is no significant difference between boys and girls.(5)It has balanced development among the dimensions. The highest level is in thedimension of the choice of learning content; the lowest level is in the dimension ofthe plan for the learning time.(6)There is a remarkable difference among the keysecondary schools and the general high school and secondary school in the dimensionof the choice of learning content, the monitoring and regulation of learning process,the use of learning environment, there is no significant differences in other threedimensions.(7)There is no significant difference between grades and gender in alldimensions.In view of this, the author raised some recommendations for improving the level ofself-regulated learning. By using the theory of social cognition created by Bandura , we can come to the following clues: For teachers: exchange the idea and method of teaching ;find extrication analysis correctly; pay attention to the influence from the group fellowsfor high school students; set up reasonable learning goals. For high students: encouragestudents to use the strategy of revision; have a planning and management of time, tostrengthen students learning process of monitoring. For the editor of the text, try toconstruct the learning materials and the three-dimensional curriculum resources systemadapt to self-regulated learning.
