With the Beijing Olympic Games and the Doha Asian Games ended, the development ofcompetitive sports in our country has formally entered the peak. Competitive sports as a pyramid,you need to countless predecessors worked for dedication to their final standing spire of the fewto enjoy the honor and glory. The most unsung heroes in this process has made strenuous effortsto pay a heavy price, but did not get excellent results, the final choice of a sadly retired, re-find anew way out and start a new life.So how do you protect the basic rights of retired athletes thatwe present must face a heavy topic. On retired athletes the protection of the rights discourse isdivided into four aspects.The first part is the analysis of the legal sources of rights of retired athletes and theelaboration of the theme concept. Human rights theory and human rights protection, all able torise on the right to fight for the development of the important reasons, the influence and role inthe establishment of any doctrine can not be circumvented. Secondly, with regard to the specificconditions of the retired athletes, the standard required to give a comprehensive summarizedfrom the official documents and local special circumstances. Finally, it should enjoy the furights,I focus on for four retired athletes is imperative the need for legislation to protect the rightsdescribed.The second section describes abroad is how to safeguard the basic rights of retired athletes.Europe, the first choice of athletes professional scientific training, the United States, as well asour nationwide system to train athletes in similar situations in Russia and other Europeancountries and focuses on the scientific method. In Asia, Japan, just learn from the Westernsystem to complete professional training, while South Korea is a government and societytogether to implement social security. Years’ experience of development and reform of China’ssports undertakings to provide help and learn from.The third part focus on interpretation of Retired Athletes’ rights guaranteed by defects inthree dimensions. First, China’s nationwide sports training itself is the lack of protection ofhuman rights, ignoring the quality of training of the athletes themselves, leading after retirementcan not find to their own position in society. Lack of insurance coverage and retired athletes and social security legislation, also from the social positioning of the multifaceted analysis of China’sretired athletes, ignoring them as special groups, the lack of protection of human rights, socialsecurity and can not accommodate the status quo.The fourth section explains the measures and objectives for the survival and developmentof the athletes. Recommended the establishment of a retired athletes the Social Security Act "to awide range of vocational skills of retired athletes training system, to the establishment of retiredathletes to social security institutions.
