Kumbum Monastey (sku vbum byams pa gling) is one of the greatest monistic university of Gelugpa (dge-lugs-pa) of Tibetan Buddhism, and Kumbum Tsodrug (sku vbum tsho pa drug) are Shiang skyong tsho ba,Zi na tsho ba, Chi kyav tsho ba, Mi nyag tsho ba, Klum vbum tsho ba, Phyogs pa tsho ba.These six tribes have lived around Kumbum area. Zina Tsho pa has been living in Zina area that is located Lanlongkou town, Huangzhong county, Qinghai province. According to the records of political and religious history of Amdo (mdo smad chos’byung), Previously Zina geshe (dge bshes) who had borned in Zina tribe and his tribal members went to take refuge in Jenghiz khan and got high regard. To the Yuan Dynasty, the Zina tribe who has been called "myriad"("khridpon") in the region of Tsongkha (tsong kha) ruled Huangzhong and Huangshui area and married with Mongolia. Ming, Lama (bla ma) of Zina was called the great master of country, and the successive Lamas (bla ma) were given the same title seal. Zina tribe and Zina Lama had a long history, and paid an important role in history. Now the tribe have no status and power like its history, but it is building beautiful Zina area together with the Han ethnic.This article studies the history relationship between Kumbum Monastery and Kumbum Tsodrug, the history and present situation of the Zina tribe, living Buddha, religion, language,customs and other aspects.This dissertation consists of seven chapters.The first chapter introduces the reasons and values for choosing this topic. It also involves the present research conditions and achievements, the approaches and process of research.The second chapter introduces the situation of kumbum Monastery and Kumbum Tsodrug briefly, and show the origin of Kumbum Tsodrug.The third chapter summarizes the history, national property, present situation of Zina tribe of Kumbum Tsodrug.The fourth chapter is a brief introduction of Zina Tibetan living Buddha who is living in Zina plain and Tashi (bkra shis) and Lake Tibetan living Buddha who was almost born in Zina tribe of kumbum Monastery.The fifth chapter focuses on the religious beliefs, separately from the Moundety, ancestors, the water and kitchen god, vulcan and other folk beliefs.The sixth chapter concentrates on the language of the Zina tribe.The seven Chapter does some research on the social customs of Zina tribe, mainly from the marriage and funeral customs.
