Research On The Implementation Of STS Education By Information Technology Supported Physics Teaching In High School

STS, a new thought, formed in the world science education reform in the late1980s, it requires students to grasp the application of science knowledge; to know the influence and function between science technology and society. It gives students the awareness to notice the society and trains students to solve problems caused by scientific development.To begin with, the thesis explores the origions and development of STS by means of consulting Literature, and illustrates the contemporary research in STS at home and abroad, what’s more, it investigates the use of STS in senior physics teaching. The result of survey shows that the teachers and students know little about the mutual relationship among science、technology and society, most of physics teachers don’t know how to use scientific methods in teaching clearly because they have no such a kind of awareness, the use of STS in education is not so colorful. According to this unsatisfactory condition of STS in senior physics, taking the application of information technology as a platform in senior physics teaching is an effective strategy.Then, with the further research of the support of information technology in senior physics teaching, the thesis structures the rationales for STS goals, principles and strategies, which provides scientific and technological guide to STS education in senior physics teaching by means of the support of information technology, and provides intellectual support for the implementation of STS education.At last, according to the practice of the support of information technology in senior physics teaching and with the guide of contemporary educational theory, the thesis summarizes three effective approaches of STS education in senior physics:Firstpervade it in compulsory course; Second, make necessary expansion in selective course;Third, carry out it in practice.In teaching practice, cultivate the students with scientific methods in the process of exploration, cultivate the students the awareness of creativity in the process of creating physics scene; cultivate the students scientific view and attitude in the process of approaching physicists; experience the cultivation of students’ sense of social responsibility and awareness of sustainable development according to scene reconstruction...
