The compulsory education in rural area is the weak link of compulsory education in China, It hasbeen plagued by the lower education quality and therefore draws numerous discontent and complain as ahighly concerned problems by the whole society. To improve the education quality, the construction ofteachers’ team is the most important part. It is obvious that the teachers’ quality will determine the qualityof teaching and education level. Our country takes some measures to improve the teaching quality of thecompulsory education in rural area, for example some policy is to support free normal, special hillockteachers to play an important role for improving the compulsory education in rural area. The study ofsupply and demand in China’s education in rural area was quite necessary.This paper based on the construction of rural compulsory education and the dilemma as thebackground, and teacher in rural compulsory education as the object, the public goods theory and thetheory of supply and demand as the theory basis, theoretically the relationship between supply and demandof the teachers and the characters of the constant change of the supply and demand, investigatedKaiFengXian rural compulsory education teacher resources supply and demand situation and existingproblems, this paper analyzes the reasons for problems, in an attempt to solve the supply and demandthrough rural teachers, to improve the level of rural compulsory education contribute most meager strength.Teacher’s resources is a kind of scarcity resources, accord with the general characteristics of resourcesin the economics, but the supply and demand of teacher’s resources is not the pure economic activity. It hasits own characteristics compared with general merchandise in market economy. The supply and demand ofeducation has to keep balance from the point of view of static. But from the dynamic perspective, thesupply and demand by different subject has to be undertaken respectively. The supply and demand ofeducation will change as time changes.The supply and demand in teacher’s resources is also changingconstantly, in a certain historical period, the relationship of supply and demand of teacher’s resourcesperformance supply less than demand, along with the development of society, oversupply may becomesupply less than the demand. supply less than the demand and oversupply maybe coexist in the samehistorical period.The supply and demand of teacher’s resource in compulsory education in rural area has to face to special ecological system. The relationship of teacher’s resource are affected by various factors, onefactor will do that, absolute balance of supply and demand in teacher’s resources is a kind of ideal status,unbalanced is normal. The imbalance of the relationship of supply and demand in rural compulsoryeducation reflected in the number, the quality and the structure, the root cause of the imbalance in teacher’sresource is that rural teachers’ professional attractive insufficiency, the supply system not perfect and lackof demand planning. According to the cause of the imbalance in teacher’s resource, I will put forwardcountermeasures from three aspects, the first one is to increase investment in education, improvingattraction of the rural teachers’ professional; the second one is to established the perfect supply system ofteacher’s resource; the last one is to make a scientific requirements planning of teacher’s resource.
