There is no doubt about the dangers of narcotic drugs. At the same time in the fightingto narcotic drugs, more and more attention are paid to the relieving and succor of drugaddicts in China. However, due to China’s specific national conditions, there are someunreasonable parts in the relevant model of rehabilitation work. So, the rehabilitation workmust keep constantly improving to accommodate the needs of people. While the struggle tonarcotic drugs become a socializing process. Community drug detoxification emerged.Relating to the national people’s livelihood, the work is both important and long-term.In the social context of promoting "person-centered" central values, for any work wemust strive for the realization of human values. Uphold those principle-respect, believingand admit. So is the community drug detoxification. For its sensitivity, we must offerunconditional care and acceptance to the drug addicts in our social work. It is better thanthe use of any technology.So can the drug addicts be allowed to feel the support, thuscontributing to generate a return to society of self-orientation.To absorb the rational coreof humanism, apply it in the rehabilitation work, then, seek the mode of establishment ofcommunity drug detoxification.With the humanistic core therapy-"Client-centered therapy", analysis theinadequacies in working methods of the community drug detoxification. Then, analysisthe use of “Client-centered therapy” in community drug detoxification and the efforts needto be made.Hoping to provide a reference to community drug detoxification work.
