A Study Of Person-center Therapy In The Intervention Of Drug Addicts' Self-growth

In our country,the drug-addiction has got much concern.The harm of drugs is serious,which is not only harmful to the individual physical health,but also can make a huge change in people's minds.In addition,they pose a threat to public order.The authorities in our country have taken active measures to rehabilitate drug treatment in order to control the spread of drugs.We have three major rehabilitation types,Community Detoxification,Compulsory Isolation Detoxification and Voluntary Detoxification.The government encourages all departments to promote drug detoxification work in a comprehensive manner to achieve an innovative development in many fields.Based on person-centered therapy,it choose a juvenile in H drug rehabilitation center in Wuhan as the service object in terms of to accelerate the personal growth.There are three stages for intervention.Primarily,pick up a case.The main task in this stage is to establish a trust relationship between counselor and case,so that the case can eliminate the sense of self-defense and express the feeling more freely and actively.The second stage is the intervention phase of the service,according to the service process of Person-Centered Therapy,the author simplifies the sandplay to three times,the progressive type presents negative feelings,positive feelings,and strengthens the feeling change.The sand table themes are set for the recollection,the change,the enhancement.According to the sandplay and the conversation content,the author summing up the sandplay interpretation and feelings of case,the analysis of consultant,the assessment of social worker.The last stage is settle the case which is propose on affirming the positive change of the case,rebuilding the self-confidence,promoting personality perfect.At the same time,it will evaluate service processes and effects in this part.The research service confirmed the promoting effect of humanistic treatment mode on self-growth of drug addicts,and confirmed that humanistic concept has important popularization significance in drug addiction intervention.At the same time,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory is well reflected in the service.Meanwhile,the innovation practice of Person-Centered Therapy intervention in this study have a referential significance to the development of social work.
