This article analyzes and collates the literatures at home and abroad since1980srelated to motion vision through literature method, based on which to further describe themain research findings, primarily discusses the sensitivity period of dynamic visual acuitydevelopment through further test analysis. In this study,300people aged from5to19areselected as test objects; the professional motion vision test software ATHLEVISIONjointly developed by Japanese company Asics and authoritative Japanese motion visionscholar Hisao Ishigaki is selected as the test tool; the dynamic visual acuity test results ofthe test objects are used as indicators to infer the sensitive period of dynamic visual acuitydevelopment. this study infers the characteristics and laws of dynamic visual acuitydevelopment; helps coaches to improve the dynamic visual acuity level of athletes moreefficiently. The basic framework of this study is composed of the following parts: first, itintroduces the origin of motion vision as well as the research situations at home and abroad. Then, it introduces the basic concept of dynamic visual acuity; analyzes and concludes therelevance between dynamic visual acuity and sports as well as the test method. Finally, itanalyzes and infers the sensitive period of dynamic visual acuity development on the basisof sports psychology and in combination with the physical and visual acuity developmentcharacteristics of population aged from5to19years old in our country. Having concludedas follows:(1) Dynamic visual acuity level improves with age growth; it is preliminarilyinferred that the sensitive period of dynamic visual acuity development is between8-14years old.(2) Dynamic visual acuity development in horizontal and vertical directions hasdifferent characteristics, which is gradually improved along with age growth; verticaldevelopment (DVA-ver) has a higher level and the sensitivity period starts earlier.(3)Dynamic visual acuity development makes differences between sexes. Females starts at ahigher dynamic visual acuity level; dynamic visual acuity development improves relatively quickly between8-14years old and reaches the peak around17years old and approachesto the level of an adult; however, the male’s development between9and15years old isfaster than that of the females.
