College students participate in this study, by questionnaire and experimentalmethod. Eye Link2000Speed Eye Tracking Systems is used as experiment instrument.With the adoption of eye movement technique,this research studies current situation ofcollege students’ reading strategies and the differences between different difficultycoefficient of test and materials and the eye movement, the differences in the readingstrategy and eye movement with Different reading ability of college students. Theresults are as follows:1. Chinese reading strategy questionnaire include: comprehend strategy, overallstrategy,consider strategy. And the author filed Chinese reading strategy questionnairewhich is questionnaire with high reliability and validity, for it meets the requirement ofpsychometrics, it can be used as the tool to examine Chinese reading strategy. Usingfrequency is comprehend strategy when most college students in reading. The girl issignificantly higher than boys on the use of the overall strategy; graduate students aresignificantly higher than students in other grades on the overall strategy and the wholereading strategies; the use of the overall strategy of rural college students aresignificantly higher than in urban college students;2. In the highest difficult coefficient under the material, high reading ability ofcollege students are significantly higher than the overall strategy, consider strategiesand the whole reading strategies;3. In the highest difficult coefficient under the material, high reading ability ofcollege students are significantly higher than the overall strategy, consider strategiesand the whole reading strategies; 4. In the highest difficult coefficient under the material, high reading ability ofcollege students are significantly higher than the low reading ability students in thedwell time in region of interest, the first fixation time in region of interest, the fixationcount in region of interest and the regression path duration in region of interest.
