Along with the gradual deepening of the new course reform, cooperative learningas a" creative and effective teaching theory and strategy system" has not only beenwidely accepted and applied in teaching practice; but also is developing to depth.In recent years, the new curriculum teaching reform in Weifang city high schoolhas a successful experience. Take Weifang No1Middle School as an example, itcooperated with Professor Pei Tina and Professor Zheng Wei of Beijing NormalUniversity. As a result,the implementation of a guided independent ecologicalclassroom reform has come into practice,becoming the banner of Weifang City highschool curriculum. However, at present there are still a lot of problems existing inWeifang city high school classroom teaching of " group cooperation learning".Such as:some students and parents pay too much attention on the accumulation of knowledgebut ignore ability training; some teachers are not in favor of cooperative learning;worse still, they also lack of operating skills; the construction and use of the group isnot scientific enough, and so on.Therefore,whether it is from the current social background, the trend of coursereform, or from cooperative learning situation,to investigate the current status ofWeifang City high school cooperative learning, to identify problems and find out whyso as to work out some practical management measures seem to be very urgent andnecessary.This research focuses on education and teaching practice,Striving to the spirit ofthe times and the new education concepts, we try to systematize group cooperativelearning facts and experience and explore rules.Both in theory and in practice, it is ofgreat value to education and teaching. It is helpful for teachers to change the teachingmethods, and for students to update the classroom learning concepts. It alsopromotes the vast number of teachers to innovate co-teaching mode and promotesthe professional development of teachers. It also enhances students’ ability and laythe foundation for the sustainable development of students.Based on the relevanting theories, this paper made an investigation on the currentstatus of Weifang City high school cooperative learning. Combining with teaching cases, it alsoputs forward strategies on improving classroom teaching andcooperative learning. Namely: to strengthen the implementation of the system; tostrengthen the guidance on study method of students; to transform the concept ofteachers, to improve teachers’ professional quality; according to the characteristics ofdifferent grades, different subjects, and different class type, select the appropriateteaching model.The study of innovation lies in: First, change of idea. With the development ofcooperative learning and practice, through research, change teachers’andadministrators’ philosophy. That is, the cooperative learning is not only a kind ofteaching mode, but also a learning state, a study atmosphere and learning skills.Thesecond is the practice of innovation. In practice, to lead the majority of teachers toactively explore and innovateso that all the teachers can explore a suitablecooperative learning mode for their subject and teaching, so as to promote thedevelopment of teaching practice.Due to the condition and capacity constraints, this paper just makes a preliminaryinquiry on the application of the cooperation study in Weifang city high schoolclassrooms. It finds some problems, and puts forward some feasible suggestions onthe current teaching mode. It does not make more effective exploration on how tostimulate students’ cooperative learning factors.
