| Teachers’ teaching effectiveness refers to teachers’ ability to achieve the goals ofeducation, to complete the task of education, and to achieve the activities of high levelsof educational performance continually. The existing researches cover the areasincluding the teaching materials and methods, teaching behaviors, teacher effectivenessand others, but so far, researches about the enhanced teaching effectiveness strategiesand the effectiveness of inspection are absent, that is extremely disadvantageous toenhancement of classroom effectiveness and the allocation of t educational resources.Therefore, on the basis of summing up the existing researches, this researchredefines the concept of teaching effectiveness, specially discusses in-depth the problemof teaching effectiveness and influenced factors to it, from the positive sight to providethe methods and factors which can actually improve the teaching effectiveness of juniorhigh school teachers. This thesis focuses on the study of two aspects: firstly, basing onthe quality theory, system theory, the quality of educational theory and teaching efficacytheory, this thesis combines with interviews of junior high school teachers to make atheoretical discussion on the structure of teachers’ teaching effectiveness andinfluencing factors; secondly, through making the survey for280junior middle schoolteachers by ‘The Teaching Effectiveness Questionnaire’ and ‘Influenced Factors ofTeaching Effectiveness and Improve Strategies Questionnaire’among several middleschools, the thesis conducts a survey of the teaching effectiveness of junior high schoolteacher, and makes the analysis the factors of teaching effectiveness, and differentteachers’ selected teaching performance improvement strategies.After the above work, it is not difficult to find that: on one side, no matter from theperspective of totality or from the gradation, we can find there is no divergence of ageand sex to the teaching effectiveness, but there is divergence on professional duty andworking time to that; on the other side, what makes the greatest influences to theteaching effectiveness is teacher and students relations, teaching environment andstudent status. Teachers in the low effectiveness of teaching groups are more susceptibleto the impact of teaching and learning environment and their own situation; whileteachers in the high teaching effectiveness group are more likely to accept impact from the school leadership. The survey also finds that Junior high school teachers considerthe methods for the most effective strategies of enhancing teaching effectiveness as:improving teaching methods and technology, improving the attractiveness of classroom,establishing a good relationship with students, shaping the harmonious class and raisingthe level of personal teaching.Basing on the above researches, this study will make some further advices for howto improve the teaching effectiveness from the aspects of the teachers, schools, nationsand social recommendations. It includes the self-development of the teachers, teacher’schange of education thinking, strengthen school training, constructing and developingteacher’s organization in education, improving the related policy and system,consistently enhancing and deepening the achievement of elementary educationcurriculum reform, emphasizing the guidance of public opinions to produce the supportof regulatory environment. |
