Research On Design And Application Of Learning Management System On The Resource-Learning Basis

On twenty-first Century, following the rapid development of IT, resource-based learning (RBL) has become one of web application in recent years. Learning management system (LMS) provides a good technical supporting platform for the resource-based learning theory. On behalf of those excellent LMS, Moodle has a wealth of media tools and interactive tools, to help teachers become the master of course. So, how to effectively use the learning management system to integrate the existing teaching resources, and encourage students to love to obtain knowledge?Out of research interest and the course needs, the author select the college course "digital video editing techniques"(DVET) of ECNU, as a practical course. After finding out the needs of network learning environment of these students, combining with the secondary development of the Moodle platform, building a resource management as the core, a video platform featuring video learning was established and put into teaching practice.This paper expounds the resources-based learning theory, analyses teaching strategy and teaching activities on the Moodle platform, and has a research on network instructional design models. On this basis, cooperating with the teacher, a LMS suitable for DVET course is established based on RBL theory. In the stage of teaching process, the teacher and students generated strong interest towards the learning platform, students’learning enthusiasm was also improved. This positive value of Moodle platform, provide some practical reference value to the film and television courses.
