With the development of information technology,modern information technology and network technology have penetrated into every aspect of people's daily life.Nowadays,teaching is not only a process of telling students certain knowledge,but that of helping them construct knowledge,in which learners are expected to explore actively,discovering and solving problems in real life through the collection,analysis,processing and application of information.Based on the core concept and principle of a certain course,project-based learning,a kind of inquiring learning mode,emphasizes that learners should use a variety of resources and tools to carry out research activities to solve complex and practical problems under the guidance of teachers and make diverse works to show their research results,through which the construction of knowledge and the acquisition of series of skills can be finally achieved.Based on the study on relevant articles on project-based learning,this study applys project-based learning activities to the elective course in senior high school called "application of network technology" in the field of information technology to design and do research on learning activities with the support of a platform called the Moodle.After reviewing relevant articles,analyzing theories on project-based learning and interviewing graduated students to ask for suggestions on teaching,teachers designed learning activities on the Moodle platform,selected appropriate teaching strategies and carried out the first round of experiment in practical teaching by applying project-based learning to the information technology curriculum in high school on the basis of the characteristics of it and the learning objectives of course as"application of network technology".Based on the experience and the insufficiency drawn from the tests,questionnaires,interviews,procedural materials on the Moodle platform and records on classroom observation,teachers carried out the second round of experiment to prove the positive effect of the application according to the changes of students' learning attitude ability and amount of knowledge,and thus conclude some teaching strategies appropriate for the design and implementation of project-based learning activities in information technology classroom.Research shows that the development of project-based learning activities based on the Moodle platform in high school information technology class can effectively promote the students' knowledge as well as skills.At the same time,it has a positive impact on students' attitude and learning methods,promoting the development of students' team work ability,critical thinking ability,information collection ability and creativity in learning activities.
