| "Function" is introduced in mathematics to describe the movement or changing phenomena in the real world."Number" for depicting static state and the "function" for characterizing dynamic phenomenon are both very important concepts in mathematics. The unceasing deepening research of the function causes the appearance of differential and integral calculus, which is a revolutionary great creativity after the Euclidean geometry and praised as a milestone in the history of mathematics."Derivative" and "definite integral" are both the core concepts of calculus, and they have extremely rich actual backgrounds and are extensively used. With reform of the new curriculum and according to teaching practice in the middle school, many contents in university mathematics such as probability, statistics, vector space and calculus are incorporated into the mathematics of middle school. And calculus appears to be of particular importance in teaching due to which provides means to study functions and variables. In the matriculation exams of recent years, function problems account for the relatively higher scores, and using derivatives to solve function problems, including big or small ones, has become the hot point. So how to deal with the calculus contents in teaching? In the following, how-to-teach-calculus will be discussed based on the experiment textbook, mathematics elective2-2A school edition in the new curriculum in senior middle. Based on the concept of the new curriculum of high school calculus teaching requirements, combined with the author’s experience of teaching, of high school calculus this part of the knowledge system of specific teaching methods of inquiry. |
