The composition is half of the Chinese teaching of middle school status and the important embodiment of students’ability as well as the obstacle for Chinese teacher. Whether to overcome the difficulties of composition teaching depends on the teaching level of Chinese teacher and directly influences the students’Chinese level. In the composition teaching, the subject is the student and the leader is the teacher."The composition teaching is the process of composition drill under the guidance of teachers. The process of composition teaching is the cooperation process between the guidance of teachers and the writing of students. It is the process of closely combination between teachers as the leader and students as the subject. It is the unified process of teaching, learning and doing. It is the gradual process of knowing, feeling, willing and practicing". The process guidance of composition teaching can divide into three stages:prewriting, while-writing and post-writing guidance. The teacher’s leading role embodies in the whole teaching process, which implement the leadership and management for teaching activities, given the practical and specific guidance to students in the operation link, such as the topic examination, the material drawing, the conception determining, the structure creation, speaking, writing, amending, evaluating and so on.Mencius said,"not according to the rules can do nothing". It seems that the writing method is the gold key to open the door of writing. So if we want to let the kids like composition, it depends on the guidance level of our teachers. This article takes the composition guidance as a dynamic process. It claims to give students the guidance of the whole writing process based on practice. It also explore the effective guidance methods of writing in the operation link, such as the topic examination, the material drawing, the conception determining, the structure creation, speaking, writing, amending, evaluating and so on.The first chapter analyzes the problems existing in students’ composition from the aspects:the topic examination, the material drawing, the topic, the structure, the language, writing, amending, evaluating and so on. And it discusses these problems from two aspects:teachers and students.The second chapter explains the concept, core and essence of the whole high school guidance methods of composition. It clears the purpose and principle in using the whole high school guidance methods of composition. It points out the significance of putting forward the whole high school guidance methods of composition.The third chapter detailed discusses the eight links and sixteen methods of the whole high school guidance methods of composition, that is the eight links of guiding students to examine the topic, draw the material, determine the conception, create the structure, speak, write, amend, evaluate and so on, and the sixteen methods of emphasis guidance, structural analysis, observation feeling, reading reference, multiple decomposition, breakthrough commonplace, path-finding under water, outline control, sequential drill, situational simulation, learning inspection, time limitation drill, correcting signs integration, inspiriting interest by activities, high lights appreciation, mistakes explanation and so on.The fourth chapter puts forward the operational factors of effectiveness of the eight links and sixteen methods of the whole high school guidance methods of composition.
