| During the gradually deepening reform of Chinese curriculum decision-makingpower, in which the reform direction of basic education curriculum policy haschanged from the original only one national curriculum mode to slowly divided intothe national, local and school three curriculum modes. The correspondenceschool-based curriculum mode is currently one of the hot topics which discussed byChina’s education sector, many experts and scholars as well as the basic schoolteachers have accumulated a lot of valuable experience for research and practice ofthe theory. This article will study through the fact-finding investigation and scientificevaluation questionnaire for the sports demand of Hainan GuoXing high school,which has made sports school-based curriculum development by full use of thecurrent school sports resources and school running characteristics, and determined totake pearl ball school-based curriculum as the research object for experimental study.Hainan GuoXing high school as a nationality key middle school, the traditionalnationality sports project pearl ball course is the main study object for case analysisin this article. The main study methods are questionnaire survey, expert interview,SWOT analysis, logical analysis, mathematical statistics and other research methods.Base on traditional ethnic sports, the school-based curriculum both at home andabroad and the current situation of Pearl Ball as the research literature for theoreticalguidance, and integrated with school pearl ball courses as school-based curriculumtogether for experimental research, the purpose of the study will be talking about thathow to make full used of pearl ball in the school, as the sports school-basedcurriculum and combining with school physical education, it embodies the value andfunction of Chinese Traditional Sports in the modern social life and then enriches theselection and contents of sports school-based curriculum.In this paper, by using SWOT analysis to survey the advantages, disadvantages,opportunity and threat aspects for the resource development by taking pearl ball asschool-based curriculum in current stage. The results shows that the main advantages for the resource development by taking pearl ball as school-based curriculum are:nationality movement will popularize the traditional project, the sports rule is simpleand easy to learn, strong competitive nature, good show performance, as well as thevalue of strengthening physical health, also has the profound historical and culturalheritage. The main disadvantages are: serious lack of relevant sports professionalteachers, part of the sports projects have regional limitation, teaching method andthought should be improved, space and equipment limited. The main opportunitiesare: the new curriculum advocates nationality sports resources development, thepopularity of folk festivals in minority nationality regions, the non-Olympic projectsgetting great attention in Asian Games. The main threats are: urbanizationdevelopment process has influenced the inheritance of traditional projects, unpopularon school sports programs.This article will put forward the following suggestions through experimentalresearch: strengthen the improvement of teacher’s quality, develop school-basedcurriculum in scientifically; focus on nationality traditional sports, popularize theheritage spirit by school-based curriculum, pay attention to the teaching evaluationfor school-based curriculum, train the students being interested in the Pearl Ball;carry out after-class competition, create the atmosphere of pearl ball sports.Finally, this article tries to gradually build scientific sports school-basedcurriculum development and promotes pearl ball as the successful case forschool-based curriculum experimental study as an example, in order to providetheory and practice reference for other nationality schools’ school-based curriculum. |
