With the popularization of higher education and the knowledge economy era, institutionsand universities have gradually become the main provider of human resources. The sustaineddevelopment of the organization depends on knowledge workers with high employability sothat employability has been respected by current organizations. Enhancing graduates’employability can satisfy the various needs of the social recruitment, students’self-improvement and school cultivation. Study about employability under the influence ofhigher education has important theoretical and practical value.This paper adopts various research methods, including literature study, expert interview,questionnaire and so on. Firstly, based on an extensive and detailed literature review about theresearch status and interaction mechanism of graduates’ cultivating mechanism, employabilityand career success, the study put forward the hypothesis and intend to establish the model.And then design and revise the questionnaire on the basis of the literature and interviews.Through the first-hand data from graduates, this paper use SPSS16.0and AMOS17.0tomake statistical analysis, including descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validitytesting, factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and so on. Thus thehypotheses can be tested and the conclusions can be drawn.This research indicates the following:(1)The graduates’ cultivating mechanism is amultidimensional construct, including community activities, internship experience,curriculum, interpersonal contact and social practice.(2)In the context of transactionalpsychological contract, employability is a binary construct, including the two dimensions ofinternal employability and external employability.(3)Some demographic variables showsignificant differences on students training mechanism, employability and career success.(4)Community activities, interpersonal contact, curriculum and social practice showsignificant regression effects on internal employability; Community activities and socialpractice show significant regression effects on external employability.(5)Internshipexperience, interpersonal contact and social practice show significant regression effects oncareer success.(6)Internal employability shows a significant regression effect on careersuccess.(7)Employability partially mediates the impact of cultivating mechanism on career success, internal employability partially mediates the impact of interpersonal contact oncareer success and fully mediates the impact of social practice on career success. Finally, thisresearch proposes some advices combined with the concrete existence of relevant issues forinstitutions, companies and students in order to improve graduates’ employability.
