The course the Theory and Practice of Comprehensive ScienceExperiment is the first attempt and innovation of Shanghai NormalUniversity of Science Education in the exploration of cultivatingexperiments operating teachers. Laboratory teaching can developlearners scientific reasoning skills and experimental skills to help learnersto understand the natural sciences and to foster their learning interest inscience, but in todays class science experiments make studentsmechanical imitation of established experimental steps, that lets itsfunctions greatly hampered. With the continuous progress of scienceand technology in the context of todays information age, a variety ofteaching methods are constantly emerging. In order to understand thedevelopment trend of the contemporary international educationaltechnology and apply and draw on international education indeveloped countries to carry out science education professionalexperimental teaching experience for all colleges and universities tocarry out the course the Theory and Practice of ComprehensiveScience Experiment and to provide resources and exchange platformfor science education professional learners, a series of studies on thereform of teaching methods in this course are carried out. This study use(1) Literature Study. Understanding regard at home and abroad thelatest developments and trends extracted from the theoretical basis ofthis study;(2) Case Analysis. Collecting some typical cases of the reformof teaching methods to analyze and summarizing the gains and lossesin the reform of teaching methods, finding how to maximize theeffectiveness of teaching methods;(3) Questionnaire. Investigation of domestic science education professional science experiment to openthe course, especially the use of teaching means details and teachingwebsite construction.(4) Action Research.The course syllabus,references, databases, multimedia courseware and improvement. Thestudy conclude that:(1) the teaching methods used by the foreignscience education experimental courses tend to virtualization, wirelessand networking.(2) the survey found that the domestic institutions ofhigher learning to set up Science Education exists comprehensivescience experiment courses is low, laboratory construction is laggingbehind, the experimental apparatus configuration is not enough,theuse of teaching methods is in traditional single, comprehensive scienceexperiment teaching website is not enough.(3) the reform of scienceteaching of comprehensive experimental means, not the negation ofthe traditional teaching methods, but according to the school of theregion of the professional practical to selectively improve the teachingof multimedia courseware, constructing teaching research exchangeplatform and three-dimensional teaching.(4)based on scienceeducation professional website the comprehensive science experimentteaching website may be established,but it should be based on theprinciple of ecology-related guidance, attention to increasing thesystematic teaching website, to maintain a stable niche, shapeecological of cognitive tools to maintain the information,creation aeffective learning environment, maximize the website performance. Inthe context of the information age, The reform of the course the Theoryand Practice of Comprehensive Science Experiment should be amulti-angle to show the experimental teaching content to reflect thetimes and innovative teaching methods; provide a full range of qualityteaching resources, share with interactivity.
