The new curriculum reform under the new situation, requeststhe teacher not only to teach and to become a research-basedteachers, in this case, teachers in addition to teaching and study theirteaching, present the most suitable one research way is actionresearch. Teacher action research is refers to the teacher to his ownthought, belief, knowledge and practice have a purpose, system,critical study way, is to enhance their own education practicerationality, acquired the professional development process. Teachersunderstanding of the significance of action research and thedevelopment process contributes to enhancing the study confidence.Integrating theory with practice, combining study with action, in thestudy of improvement actions are the characteristics of teachers actionresearch. Teacher action research also needs certain tools andscientific program, teachers in the self-examination of the plan,implementation, reflection of the action research process, andconstantly examine their practical knowledge and teaching behavior,not only can improve the quality of the teacher to teach and thestudents, and can make the teacher individual, silent, recessiveknowledge into practice for others to share, clear public knowledge,promote their own teaching theory of creation and construction, andgradually get rid of foreign " authority theory" bound and imprison.According to" China terrain" unit class as case, through severalyears of junior high school geography teaching activities carried out, inorder to action research as the main research methods, andcontinuously explore new activities teaching method, improvingteaching methods, through research the main conclusions are asfollows:(1)The middle school teaching is a kind of suitable students to develop the good teaching method, according to the requirements ofthe new curriculum reform, the teaching way follows the studentscharacteristics of physical and mental development, can improvestudents learning motivation, to cultivate students interest in learning, inthe geography teaching activities, the personality of students well playwith the development, the student various aspects ability to obtain theexercise, the students will also gradually from the "me" to "I want tolearn", such as the development of every student, have played a greatrole in promoting.(2)The teacher through the" China terrain" unit activity teachingaction research, one can understand the research methods andmeans, learn how to study teaching; on the other hand, throughresearch, teachers can strengthen their teaching reflection, canexperience a new way of teaching, the practice and the process ofreflection, to gradually improve their teaching level, the teachersprofessional obtained the very good development, so teachers can bemore rational to face every teaching problem.(3)Through to" China terrain" unit activity teaching actionresearch, teachers in the implementation of teaching process, can bemore accurately and efficiently find for student activities teaching way,according to the different knowledge to design different teaching ways,different types of classes can also design the activity of differentteaching plan, so as to effectively improve the junior middle schoolgeography activity teaching efficiency, only to allow students to learnhappiness within, in which, the effect will be improved significantly.(4)Because of the geography activity teaching practice,reflection and research, geography of this discipline in the gradualimprovement and development, the discipline of geography position isalso quietly changing, School of geography takes the degree will bemore and more high, the geography is not only the minor, but a the value of the subject, it is not only a test subject, but also in the lives of itspeople have a great help, so teachers of junior high school geographyteaching action research, led the geography discipline development,promoted the development of geography teaching.At the beginning of the new century, peoples life has changed,our teaching should also be the ongoing reform and development, ourgeography teaching in carrying on the transformation anddevelopment, teachers are no longer simply obeying ISBN teachingway, in the face of the new curriculum reform to develop teaching goal,teachers can according to his understanding and research, formulatesa set to conform to their own school students and its teaching mode, onone hand make teachers teach easily, also can let students learn easily,as long as the senior high school entrance examination in the excellentresults achieved, what is there against it? Todays education should bean open system, face a lot of knowledge, teachers should learn tointegrate screening, learn, help students to face the common teachingexamination and daily life knowledge, let the students not only learn,but learning is concerned, but also pay attention to the life, in a sense,learning and life is inseparable, the teacher is also so, the teacher wantsto be a successful teacher, learn to practice constantly reflect onongoing research is very important, as long as a practical actionresearch, we can get full development, we will have a full and happy.
