The new curriculum reform comes up with new ideas that affect every aspect of geography teaching.As a totally new teaching method,geography activity teaching of high school gradually attracts more and more attention.With the development of the new curriculum reform,a series of new senior geography textbooks have sprung up.Guangdong province adopts the edition published by People's Education Publishing House,The biggest difference between the new textbook and the old one is that the new edition arranges a great number of "activity" contents.However,in the actual teaching process,there exist lots of trouble in selecting and applying the geography "activity"contents,which causes an urgent need for new geography "activity" contents.Therefore,this research is carried out and the article consists of six parts.First,the introduction part mainly introduce the background and significance of the research,the contents and the strategy,the status and the approaches.Second,the basic research theory of geography activity teaching includes the definition of geography activity teaching,the related concepts of constructivism and cognition,and related contents of geography evaluation.Third,the systematic analysis of Curriculum Standard Experimental Geography Textbook One(compulsory)for normal high school(Geography One(compulsory)in short),including an overview,the characteristics and problems of the"activity" contents in the textbook.Fourth,the efficient construction of "activity" in geography teaching,mainly focusing on the construction principles and strategies.Fifth,the case study will present the "activity" contents in the form of lesson based on two items in the Geography One(compulsory),and evaluate its effectiveness guided by the education evaluation theory.Sixth,the conclusions and prospection part will summarize the ideas of this paper,and point out the shortcomings of this research and the prospection of the future.The core content of this article focus on the efficient construction strategy of the geography "activity" teaching.Therefore,the author adopts the research method combining case study and questionnaire.Based on the related research theories and the author's teaching experience,the final conclusions are as follows:(1)"activity" construction should enhance its interest.(2)"activity" construction should set an appropriate difficulty and focus on the individual difference.(3)"activity" construction should emphasize on the cultivation of methods,skills and minds.(4)"activity" construction should be combined closely with the real needs of the society.
