Strengthen the popularization of natural science education, andimprove the national especially the teenagers’ scientific quality havebecome a basic project to enhance the country’s continuinginnovation and comprehensive national strength. The primary naturalcourse teachers are the abecedarian who teach the youth aboutnatural science knowledge systematically and cultivate innovativetalents. So, improving the quality of the the primary natural courseteachers, and training high-quality the primary natural course teachersare very important to enhance the quality of the primary natural courseteachers and cultivate innovative talents. Therefore, it is a significantwork to analyze the construction of the primary natural course teachers,abstract the characteristics of them, and make intensive study of theirproblems.Strengthen the construction of the primary natural course teachersis a long-term issue. Both Education department and schools take thescience and technology education as one of the core work of schooleducation. However, as to the science and technology education,they pay more attention to the output of the teachers, not the teambuilding. In this thesis, the author choose two districts in shanghai as theobjects, one is Luwan district, from the urban, one is Chongming county,from the suburb, and analyze the construction of primary natural courseteachers there. Based on the results of the investigate and interview, theauthor try to find out problems and reasons from educationadministrative departments, normal colleges and universities, schools,teacher training departments, and put forward certain suggestions. Themain problems of this study include these problems: how to train aprofessional science teacher group in primary schools to meet theneeds of the new time; how to make the training effective; how to narrow the gap of quality between the primary natural course teachersin urban and rural primary schools; how to establish a perfectevaluation system for the primary natural course teachers.This dissertation mainly consists of3parts as follow: the first chapteris the instruction, illustrating the origin, the related concepts, the generalsituation of this research, including domestic and abroad, theoreticaland practical, and it also makes brief introduction about the methodsand ideas in this study. In chapter two, the author made investigateand interview about the present construction of the primary naturalcourse teachers in Luwan district and Chongming county. Andsummarized the problems existing and in question about theconstruction, such as the primary natural course teachers are not highlyspecialized enough, the training for the primary natural course teachersdoesn’t have exact focus, the evaluation system is not perfect, and soon. Chapter three is about thinking and suggestions for the constructionof the primary natural course teachers. The author describe measuresfrom different aspects, including the education administrativedepartments, the normal colleges and universities, schools, traininginstitutions and the teachers themselves. These measures are describedas follow: form standard and strict science teacher recruitment mode,form professional training mode, improve the evaluation system and thecontinuing education mode of the primary natural course teachers,narrow the gap of quality between the primary natural course teachersin urban and rural primary schools to achieve the simultaneousdevelopment. The measures and suggestions that put forward in thisthesis is make great sense to strengthen the science teaching inShanghai primary schools, and provide referenced value and target topromote and improve the construction of the primary natural courseteachers.
