With the development of our social economy, mass floating population pour into economically developed areas. Since the population movements are mainly in family units, migrant children are gradually to be a main force of the whole non-residents population. Depending on region, culture, economy and many other factors, pre-school education for migrant children in urban areas shows some differences on education demands. Therefore it was necessary to focus on parents needs on pre-school education of migrant children.Four major approaches applied in the dissertation are questionnaire-survey, interviews, observation and documentary analysis. Taking X kindergarten as the case study, finding the corresponding education needs as a point of penetration, this study give a fully and in-depth study both on parents requirements to kindergarten management, courses, education supports and environment, and on analysis of their response measures and effectiveness to such education requirements. The study aimed at consistently addressing pageants requirements on migrant children’s education and promoting the development of kindergarten.The study shows that parents are generally more concerned about kindergarten’s management, curriculum, home education support and some implicit demands. The kindergarten should pay more attention on communication with parents to respond their requirements, such as give audience to views of parents through home visits; welcome parents to visit kindergartens; listen to words from parents carefully. In practice, according to parents’ conditions, kindergarten should do some flexible adjustments on schedule, fee structure, curriculum, home cooperation and so on. Besides, they also should give positive response to some implicit demands which are not easy to adjust.Seen from parents’ demands and the response measures, the kindergarten has achieved some success, but there are still some issues need to solve by mutual cooperation’s between the parents of migrant children and kindergartens. Thus, this study propose that parents of migrant children should pay more attention on children’s pre-school education, enhance the understanding of pre-school education, actively cooperate with kindergarten’s works and seek support consciously; kindergarten should draw up some policies tiled in favor of fee structure, curriculum and education support; teachers should share their education materials and methods with parents; The government should increase investment on pre-school education, provide education resources support and improve social security mechanism of migrant population.
