Since1949, our government has taken many measures to push women to enter into the social labor, such as passing the legislation and regulations and promulgating policies. Due to the traditional social culture and the state of the economy, women entered into the occupational development environment which dominated by men. However, with the progress of reform and opening up, the development of economy, the advance of science and technology, the difference of labor ability is more important than the gender difference. During this period, the occupational quality of the female has been improved as well as the occupation space has been continuously widened. Hence, the female have a great desire on occupational success. But their career development is prevented by the gender inequality. After analyzing the situation of the female’s career development and the particularity of the female’s career under the perceptive of gender, in affirming the achievements in the female’s occupation career development, the thesis explores the problems arisen in the female’s career development from public policy, organization and women themselves and countermeasures. Confined to the length, the thesis focuses on the analysis of the obstacles of the female’s career development created by our public policy lacked of the perspective of the gender, and carries on the countermeasure analysis on female’s career development to make the government carry the responsibility and provide a broader platform.
