Competitive swimming in large sports often indispensable event, all country’s focus. Therefore, at present, all countries in the world attach great importance to competitive swimming training, scientific research and the latest results applied to training practice. In recent years, competitive swimming training in science and technology has become increasingly sophisticated, athletes during physical training has been almost human victory limit, and the development of sports technology has reached maturity and stability of the state, in the future for a long period of time, can work with athletes, is the development of potential. How to take effective methods of rewards and punishments, to help athletes achieve peak experience, has been the coach and athletic psychological, researchers want to study and understand.This study adopts the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and logic analysis and other research methods, through to Beijing, Shanxi, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Heilongjiang, Shandong, Shanxi, Hubei and Henan9cities professional swimming team investigation, summed up the current national swimming team incentive basic form the application of rewards and punishments, and sports team rewards and punishment system, discusses how to reasonable use of rewards and incentives for athletes, Chinese swimming training and provide a theoretical basis and methodological guidance, to further enrich and perfect the scientific content and methods to do some research work.The main conclusions are as follows:(1) professional swimming coach most commonly chosen race, training plan and training in attitude or effort level as the timing of the reward; most often choose to play serious arrhythmia, violate the rules and regulations, training and the training quality is a negative attitude, as punishment basis. (2) the material reward and spiritual rewards are two main incentive means in professional swimming team, wherein the material rewards refers to bonus and allowance,w hile spiritual rewards refers to getting a smile, thumb-up or verbal praises. The most expected ways to reward for players are fame, game qualifications, retirement aftercare.The main means of punishment are exercise volume and fine, in addition, criticism, writting examinations and other means are also commonly used.(3) professional swimming team rewards a multitude of names, different role, but all rewards. Shi Jun can produce obvious incentive effect:the punishment is a kind of education method, is a kind of incentive form, is a subtle art of education, different means of punishment have incentive effect is not consistent. The reward for professional swimming team incentive effect is obviously superior to the punishment to the swimming team incentive effect.(4) reward on the positive effect of the highest degree, followed by exercise motivation, psychological changes, goal establishment, the exercise performance and sport life span, and punishment measures on psychological effects of changes in the highest degree, followed by positive, objective, sporting life, sport motivation and sport performance.The author holds that to improve professional swimming team rewards and punishment system present situation, first of all to increase mental reward proportion, according to their motivation to choose reasonable incentives; in addition, rewards and punishment to proper use, do not abuse award, without harsh penalty, the penalty award, the pain, be open and transparent, especially perfect team assessment mechanism.
