By generalizing and analyzing the research data on rewards and punishments in education, this research reveals the process and characteristics of rewards and punishments evolving from management function to moral education function, reinforcement function and information function. This research also deeply analyzes the three ways of rewards and punishments how to influence the individual moral development. In other words, that is to evaluate individual moral actions, improve internalization of moral rules and give the criteria for moral assessment. Besides, this research comprehensively analyzes the complicated influence caused by rewards and punishments on the explicit and implicit individual psychology and behavior under different conditions and backgrounds.Under the guidelines of above theories, the author investigates the rewards and punishments in primary and middle schools in Qinchen District of Tianshui City. This investigation will bring light to various affections of rewards and punishments in real educational circumstances; meantime, the research provides typical cases of how to properly use rewards and punishments; at last, the research discusses the practical principles of rewards and punishments in creative education.
