Based on the former researches on education rewards and punishments, this research mainly aims at the current situation of education rewards and punishments and some relevant influencing factors during the high school education. The findings of my questionnaire to teachers and students are as follows.This research shows that there exist some good aspects about the current situation of education rewards and punishments during the high school education. Firstly, education rewards and punishments pursue fairness and justice. Secondly, the cognition of education rewards and punishment shows certain intellectuality. Thirdly, the teachers conduct more rewards than punishments. Fourthly, when rewarding students the teachers pay more attention to mental motivation than financial stimulation, whereas when punishing students the teachers mainly criticize and educate students instead of punishing them physically and corporally. Finally, students can adapt to the current rewards and punishments to a certain degree.This research also shows that there are many current problems with education rewards and punishments during the high school education. They are especially shown in the following aspects. Firstly, the proportion of it is not very appropriate. Secondly, the frequency of it is not very reasonable. Thirdly, the rewards methods the teachers are using are not very flexible. Fourthly, the fields where teachers reward and punish students are not very scientific. Fifthly, the degree of education rewards and punishment is not very suitable. Finally, the effect of education rewards and punishments needs improving. This essay makes a further comparison and analysis on the current situation of education rewards and punishments from many aspects such as the teachers'gender, age and position and the students'gender and level of knowledge. There are some significant differences between variable teachers'types and students'types.Meanwhile, this essay does a survey on the influencing factors on education rewards and punishments in the time dimension, which includes before, when and after they are performed. In addition, according to the relevant references and some practical experience, this research also states that there are many objective and subjective factors that affect the current education rewards and punishments. Objective factors include various regulations, economic condition, traditional views, social pressure from the public and so on. Subjective factors cover the differences between different teachers, different students, teachers and students, different parents and so on.In the last part, this research comes up with some suggestions from many different angles in terms of the school, teachers, students and cooperation among people according to the current problems of education rewards and punishments in their high school, hoping to make education rewards and punishments play more active roles to the largest extent.
