A Research On The Humanistic Quality Education Of Students In Beijing Sport University

People pay more and more attention on the talent training along with the arrival of the era of knowledge and information. The talent training cannot go further without education whose basic objective is to make students fully developed and all-rounded. Meanwhile, people should improve the citizens’humanistic quality in the whole society, publicize and popularize the humanities, promote humanistic education, and greatly enhance the humanistic spirit for the sake of the development of the harmonious society. In particular, the concept of "the People’s Olympic" which put forward during Beijing Olympic Game in2008makes the sports humanistic values become more prominent. And higher education bears the response to cultivate high-quality talents for the country and the society, which plays a crucial role in improving the citizens’humanistic quality.Ordinary higher sports colleges are not only an important part of higher education, but the basic contents and aspects of education. Their unique effects on cultivating talents are incomparable to any other subjects. Moreover, sport, as a human cultural activity, its professional essence and characteristics make it more humanistic, which not merely requiring solid professional knowledge of science but social responsibility, humanitarian, personality and other humanities spirits. Therefore, Beijing Sport University and other higher physical education institutes should bear the missions of developing and innovating sport’s culture, which are a part of social development in the new period, and cultivate outstanding college students who possess higher humanistic quality.This article studying this topic by using the method of literature, questionnaire, logical analysis and mathematical statistics will analyze, summarize, and generalize the causes of the BSU’s current situation of humanistic education through the research on the present situation of the humanities eduction among the students in BSU. It proposes some countermeasures and suggestions for the further development, also provides some guidances and practice significant to cultivate students into "human" more effectively among physical eduction institutes, and promote the fusion of the scientific spirit and humanistic spirit. In the meanwhile, this article can provide reference on humanistic education for other physical institutes and specialized colleges.
