Research On The Cultivation Of3-6Year Old Children’s Creative Thinking

This article aims to explore new ways to cultivate children’s creative thinking by adopting experimental method to implement creative thinking game course with three months for experimental class, comparing testing result with Comparative Class prior to and post the experiment, studying the changes in their results prior to and post the experiment, analyzing the characters of children creative thinking ability, combining Interview, Observational survey with Documentary Analysis to probe into the validity of the investigation and taking many influencing factors on creative thinking into consideration. The investigation randomly chooses two kindergartens in Changsha, Hunan, which have two parallel classes of junior kindergarten, higher kindergarten class and senior kindergarten class. That is to say, investigated kindergartens have two classes with the same age, one is Experiment Class and the other is Comparative Class. The number of the Experiment Class and Comparative Class of senior, junior and primary level amounts to30respectively with the age of3-4,4-5,5-6. There are altogether195children with the age of three to six as the test objects. The Experiment Class takes the training activities of creative thinking games twice a week, while Comparative Class still organize the daily activity as the original plan not taking the training.The experiment used Picture Test A of TTCT as test tool and employed the Independent-Samples T Test and Univariate of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version17.0)to explore differences of children creative thinking, children age and gender prior to and post the experiment. The relative results are as follows:①The training of creative thinking games is effective for the children (three to six years) creative thinking cultivation.②Children (three to six years) creative thinking ability progresses along with the growth of age, senior kindergarten class and junior kindergarten class have a greater improve than senior kindergarten class and primary kindergarten class.③Children (three to six years) creative thinking ability has no gender difference.④The development of children (three to six years) creative thinking ability can be affected by many factors, among which the main5factors involve education concept, teacher’s professional standard, teaching method, class scale as well as social environment.The experiment results prove that the implementation of creative thinking games courses has positive effects on children (three to six years) creative thinking. Therefore, in responding to the characteristics of creative thinking games course, and after analyzing the multiple-factored theory of Children Creative Thinking, this research shows that an open and tolerant way of teaching guided by the idea of children innovation, better teacher quality, a teaching team sharing the same view of innovation,creative thinking oriented teaching strategies, smaller class scale, and an encouragement of creative thinking by the whole society would be essential to the improvement of children creative thinking.
