In the21stcentury, which is the knowledge economy era, the Innovative Adults’education becomes a hot topic and the centre of research. Higher Education Institution is suchan important base of gathering and training high-level innovative talents, building innovativegroups, which also has the unshakable responsibility and obligation to cultivate innovativetalents. In this paper, the HG University is situated in Guangzhou, a southern metropolitan inChina. And it is one of China’s key universities operating under the direct leadership of theState Ministry of Education. The HG University’s continuous exploration on the educationmode for the innovative talents has a great reference value not only for the innovative talents’cultivation in Guangdong Province but also in the whole country.This article begins with describing the related concepts, analyzes and summarizes theconnotation, characteristic and extensive meaning of the “innovative talents” and “educationmode”. Mean while, it sumps up some effective and useful experience on innovative talents’cultivation of other famous and top university both in China and oversea. And then it analyzesthe situation and the effective actions on the innovative talents’ cultivation of the HGUniversity, which provide both the theoretical and the empirical basis to the whole research.The article then analyzes the effects of cultivation of the innovative talents by visiting andsending questionnaires to the students, teachers, graduates and employing units. Finally thispaper puts forward a constructive suggestion for improving the HG University’s innovativetalents’ cultivation.
