| The trend of rapidly developing modern science and technology reflects to remarkable characteristics including both obvious differentiation and highly integrated. New discipline growing points and significant achievements in scientific research always come from the academic exchanges among different disciplines. As a result, training high level interdisciplinary talents comes to be an important basis in promoting interdisciplinary academic exchanges, discipline growth and significant scientific achievements. Because of strong scientific research strength and discipline-inclusive education system, high level comprehensive research-based universities has incomparable advantages in training high level interdisciplinary talents. So in the new situation, vigorously developing interdisciplinary postgraduate education to get more top-notch innovative talents with interdisciplinary knowledge has not only been a new trend in postgraduate education reform around the world, but been also an important measure to promote the postgraduate education innovation and to improve the postgraduate education quality. It is not only for acclimating the times request, but also an inevitable choice of the postgraduate education.Interdisciplinary education is the "cradle" cultivating innovative talents. Carrying out interdisciplinary activities such as interdisciplinary course teaching, scientific research and academic exchanges plays a great role in promoting the cultivation of innovative talents. But as current situation, most of our universities and colleges still use "single discipline education model" in cultivating postgraduates, and "interdisciplinary education model" has not been formed yet. This research focuses on interdisciplinary education theory, talking about how to break the barriers and strengthen the relationship among disciplines, and how to cultivate innovative talents using interdisciplinary education. Using interdiscipline as a platform, this study systematically introduces the historical evolution of education mode on postgraduates and the huge significance of interdisciplinary education in cultivating innovative talents. Combining relevant data and information, this research also summarizes the current situation of interdisciplinary postgraduate education based on universities’ own aspect, and then it puts author’s specific ideas in this matter by analyzing both limiting factors in our practice and successful experience from foreign countries. Therefore only if we keep developing the interdisciplinary and strengthening the thought of interdisciplinary cultivation as well as resource integration, system innovation, platform construction, attention on development, we can have innovative talents acclimating the times request. |
