Strategies For Industry—Academy—Research Ooperation In The Colleges Of Hubei Province

In modern intellectual economy era, the universities have naturalmultidisciplinary advantages, abundant human resources andmulti-functional characteristics. As significant combinations of primarytechnological productive forces and talent resources, they play an importantrole in the creative development of our country and must take theresponsibility of collaborative innovation for modern times. Based on thesuperior academic subject group of universities, it is an effective way for theimprovement of our country’s innovation ability to build anIndustry-academy-research institute partnership with research institutes,industry businesses, local governments and international community, whichcan help form an organic integrity of collaborative innovation and deal withcrucial demand and scientific problems for our country.The universities in Hubei have made some tentative explorations andobtained some achievements on the research of Industry-academy-researchinstitute cooperation in recent years. However, there are still some problemsin people’s concepts, internal mechanisms and external conditions, whichhas seriously restricted the sustained, stable and healthy development ofIndustry-academy-research institute cooperation. Therefore, it is of greatimportance to deeply analyses and explore the reasons for those problemsboth from the micro level and macro level, researching and figuring outeffective counter-measures for Industry-academy-research institutecooperation.On that account, this study will use “The Plan of2011” as the guidingideology and collaborative innovation as the theoretical basis to promoteand perfect the counter-measures of the Industry-academy-research institutecooperation, hoping to provide a more powerful guarantee for boosting thedevelopment of Industry-academy-research institute cooperation of universities in Hubei, constructing a technological innovative system withHubei regional features and accelerating the commercialization fromscientific achievements to practical productive forces. At first, this thesiswill introduce the theoretical basis of Industry-academy-research institutecooperation and then analyze the five typical development patterns inpractical Industry-academy-research institute cooperation of universities inHubei. Next, the author will raise some existing problems and the reasonsthat cause these problems in the practical Industry-academy-researchinstitute cooperation of universities in Hubei. Finally, the author will putforward some targeted suggestions on boosting the smooth development ofthe Industry-academy-research institute cooperation of universities in Hubeibased on the successful experience of America, German, Japan andGuangdong Province in China in this field, to accelerate the cooperation ofIndustry-academy-research institute of universities in Hubei and promotethe healthy development the economy of Hubei.
