With the development of science and knowledge information ofexplosive growth,the center of teaching that master of subjectknowledge began to change into developing students personality andcultivating students capabilities.Personalized learning as a typicaltraining students ability and developing students personality is graduallydemonstrated in front of the field of education.The United States is thefirst to produce and carrying on personalized learning theory.Exploringthe theory and experiment was never stopped, especially after worldwar II the personalized learning had better development.In recent years, the research of China that how to promotingstudents character development and cultivating the ability is increasing,and many teaching experiments are continuously carrying on.Although these theory and practice research has made great progress,but due to the limitations of the conditions and the theory deficiencies,failed to achieve the desired effect. Therefore, this article is to explainthe concept of personalized learning, etc, expound personalizedlearnings history of the United States and combining with the results ofother researchers analyzed the essence and the connotation ofpersonalized learning. Through to introduce and analyze the case ofthe American forest lake elementary school personalized learningpersonalized learning of China, and then put forward suggestions onhow to optimize the personalized learning in China.This article contains four parts. The first part points out the researchbackground and the purpose of the research, reviews thedevelopment of the history of personalized learning and describes itsrelevant concepts; The second part in personalized study summarized,in this paper, the theory of learning support the development ofpersonal history status and developing trend; The third part introduces and analysis the personalized learning of American forest lakeelementary school; The fourth part discusses the present situation ofChinas personal learning, analyzes the characteristics and thedeficiency, and on this basis to get certain enlightenment, and putsforward suggestions on how to optimize the personalized study in China.
