A Study On Social Service Model Of Agricultural University

Social service is the one of basic function of agricultural universities, which have the advantages of scientific research technology, information resources, talent intelligence, policy funds in servicing rural, and should undertake the task of constructing the new socialist countryside.How agricultural universities play the function of social service, affect agriculture could turn the traditional agriculture into the modem agriculture by changing the situation of unreasonable industry structure and extensive production.As Huazhong Agricultural University as a case, this paper discusses the social service mode of agricultural university and the development direction based on Neo-Institutionalism and the Triple-helix theory.This paper contents three parts. Firstly, the paper expounds social service’s process of Huazhong Agricultural University, and analyzes the current situation of social services, then selects the typical case to show the development track of social service mode.Secondly, on the base of detail empirical research, the paper summarizes the characteristics and influence factors of social service mode of Huazhong Agricultural University. Combined with case studies, this paper put forward the future direction of social service.Thirdly, through the details of the empirical study and theoretical analysis, the main conclusions of the study are that the different service modes of agricultural universities present different characteristics because of the dominant force, and its service effect also get different degrees of highlights. And the agricultural development trend of college service model shall turn the mode of unilaterally participate in the service into the mode of three parties participate in service, as the result of that, creating a service system which the service providers, service recipients, service manager cooperate with each other.According to the direction of development, this paper expounds the practice path.The innovating of this paper is analyzes the relationship of the service provider, the service the receiver and the service managers of agricultural universities service patterns, and establishes classification framework according to the leading force.
