The Research For Social Work Intervention In Building A Good Parent-child Relationship

Parent-child relationship, the first interpersonal relationships of children’s life is considered as the most fundamental and important family relationships. Harmonious parent-child relationship has not only an important influence on children’s behavior and mental health but also is an important factor for the normal socialization of child. Currently, the research on parent-child relationships stayed in the status of investigation and characteristic analysis, while few studies of intervention in the parent-child relationship were carried out as a result that the improvement of parent-child relationship was not put into practice at all.The main purpose of this study is to intervene in parent-child relationships on children so that parent-child relationship was improved to promote the healthy development of children and a reference was provided for the actual improvement of the children’s parent-child relationship by using "hand in hand" parent-child relationship services for primary school children and their parents in Chengdu L community. First of all, before the formal implementation of the project, a detailed preliminary analysis was conducted, so as to achieve the purpose of assessment for the project requirements. Secondly, a project service plan was made according to the analysis. This scheme can study and evaluate the children’s parent-child relationship based on the parent-child communication group and the parent-child relationship casework intervention. The last of the whole project was summarized.Through research, this study’s point of view is as follows. The service object can obtain the support of a peer group by crew interaction from parent-child communication group, and can deepen the understanding of parent-child relationship by participating in the form of activity, so as to promote the improvement or upgrading of their own parent-child relationship.Improvement in parent-child relationship is a relatively slow process, and the whole process of adaptation to the parent-child relationship with the larger problem is more difficult and complex. During the process of adaptation, we have to combine individualized step-by-step to improve the parent-child relationship. Casework can solve the problem through individual service in-depth analysis of the service object and help clients.Service object has a high recognition on the role of social work to improve or enhance the role of parent-child relationship; social work can play an active role in improving parent-child relationship and should be given full play to their professional advantage. The innovation of the research is to combine to carry out the services of the parent-child communication group with the parent-child relationship casework services and integration into the community work way. The research has effective integrated of the three practices of social work, and fully demonstrated the positive role of social work intervention study of parent-child relationship.
