| With the development of the knowledge and economy as well as the requirements of building a new socialist countryside, especially country pay attention to solving the rural issues have contributed to an important opportunity for the development of the Research Agricultural University. Graduate education as the highest level of higher education undertakes the important task of training high-level expertise and top creative talents. Graduate students are the main force of innovation and their quality of training is one of the important symbols of school’s academic research level. There are many factors affecting the innovative abilities of graduate students and academic communication is one of them. It is an important way to create the academic atmosphere, enhance the innovative abilities of graduate students. But now the importance of academic communication programs for graduate students is not enough. How to build the distinctive characteristics of graduate students’academic communication platform of the Research Agricultural University is the theoretical and practical issues.This paper bases on Maslow’s need hierarchy theory, Group Dynamics Theory and Higher education theory, taking Huazhong Agricultural University as research object. It deeply analyzes the status and problems of graduate students’ academic communication from questionnaires and depth interviews. Then it proposes policy recommendations.This paper consists of five parts:The fist part is an introduction. It consists of background, purpose and significance, research methods and content, progress in research.The second part is the theory which used in the research. First of all, It defines the basic conceptions. Secondly it describes the theoretical basis of this research. Finally, it describes the features and functions of academic communication, the necessity and feasibility of the academic communication platform.The third part is the current situation of graduate students’academic communication. First it analyzes the research object, survey implementation and statistics. Then it analyzes the current situation of graduate students’academic communication through cognitive level, content, object and consequent of academic communication. All above can provides more reliable and detailed evidence for the following research.The fourth part is recommendations of constructing graduate students’ academic communication. It includes ideas, principles, improvements and managements, which can make it work well.The fifth part is conclusion. It briefly discusses the main points of this research, and analyzes the innovation and inadequacies in this research. |
